Tampa Bay offers warm, sunny temperatures all year round. Snowbirds often go to America’s southernmost continental state to escape the undesirable winter conditions found further up north. Retirees and older people usually make the Southern flight. The warmer temperatures ease their arthritis and anyone who has gone through a snow or ice storm knows how troublesome they can be. Other people go just to Tampa Bay to visit the beaches.
Tampa Bay, as a community that borders the ocean, has many beaches that a tourist can visit.I was looking for more information and found it here. People can go swimming or surfing at any time of year. Should the beaches disappear, visitors will have fewer reasons to come to Tampa Bay. The warm waters that used to land on the beaches will still remain, but the lack of sand will limit other activities. Surfing and swimming are not the only things people do on the beach. Barbecues, volleyball and the building of sand castles have always been popular activities.
The tourism industry will not disappear because of beach erosion, but it will suffer. The beaches are not the only reason people come to Florida. Tampa Bay has a rich history and it is not far from the Everglades either. A person who wants to travel a little more can spend a pleasant day at one or two of Orlando’s theme parks.
